Bolster dog beds provide security
and comfort for your dog. Most will include a
pillow area where your dog would lay and a high
wall that surrounds the pillow area called the
bolster. Note that high wall is mentioned. A bed
with a 2 inch wall around a mat type pillow is
not a bolster bed. Your dog needs comfort and
most often used the bolster to rest his/her
head. Therefore, start with a minimum of 8
inches. Bolsters can also come as wide as 15
